Nvshu
In old China, there was an old saying: “Women don’t need education because women don’t need to know much”. Women were not able to get education in that time in China, because people consider let a man get education is more important than let a woman get education, since in all those government organization, they only hire men, so education to women usually consider as “waste of money”. Until later Qing Dynasty, women begin to get formal education, however, only those rich families can afford to do it, and the reason they want to spend money to educate their girl is they want to make their girl to know ”how to be a lady”. For those poor families, things never changed.
Nvshu was created in this social background, some women were fighting this unfair environment, they want to have their own right to read, write and learn, there for, Nvshu was born. Until now, nvshu still the only written language that created by women in the world.
